Loosing It's Spark

Brandy Melville dress, ZARA handbag, Urban Outfitters sandals, Ray Ban aviators

I can't remember the last Independence Day where I had "fun". I remember being younger, we'd always take these trips to Las Vegas in one of those HUGE, long vans and we'd fit several families in there. We stopped doing that now that most of my cousins are married with kids and the economy has gotten so bad we're all saving for our lives. Anyways, I managed to kidnap my aunt out of the house today since my uncle had the day off. He stayed home with the two younger ones that are always attached to her. She's constantly asking me to shop for her but I want her to get out of the house and shop for herself for once. We stopped by the Westfield Mall and KOHLS since I had received my first KOHLS cash from there. I bought her a pair of shoes and well, my aunt got me a pair of boots from H&M that I thought was already past season so I guess you could say I had a very happy July 4th :)

Ended the night with fireworks at my aunt's house with the kids. I think I'm getting too old for this stuff though because I didn't play this year, instead, I lit the "scarier" fireworks and captured the moments on film.

Joey & Bo

Congratulations to my friend Joey and her now husband, Bo!

Tonight I attended my friend Joey's wedding. Our father's are good friends and daddy couldn't make it but mom, me, my sister Jennie, and cousin Kary attended. It was held at a lovely restaurant in San Gabriel near the San Gabriel Mission. I loved the colors she chose for the theme of her wedding, pink and purple! My favorites!

Joey and Bo dated for about 8 years before getting married. I remember when I was younger, visiting Joey at her work and Bo was then the "co-worker" and "friend". Now they are married, husband and wife! I wish them the best!

5.23.2011 Pacific Dining Car

This is a late, late post. I took my family out to dinner at The Pacific Dining Car in Downtown Los Angeles thanks to Groupon (or) livingsocial, I forgot which one but one of those amazing companies lead me there. I'm going to write a full review of my experience, opinions, and thoughts on the restaurant via yelp but I hope you all enjoy these photos that I took off my iPhone since I forgot my camera.

Will and Wendy

Vintage jacket, David Lerner dress, Forever21 booties, Rebecca Minkoff clutch

Readers, I'd like to introduce you to my first pair of god parents : ) They've seen me grow up as a baby and have always given me unconditional love and care. They're some of the kindest and most amazing people I know and I hope that they live to the day that I get married.

Sis and I attended a wedding in favor for my parents absence. We weren't related to the bride and groom but the father of the groom is a good friend of my dad's so we went along with my god parents (god father is a good friend too) to the celebration dinner. The traditional Asian dinner where the bride does a dress change into an Asian dress and the same entrees served at every Asian wedding dinner such a mayonnaise shrimp and shark fin soup.

Erica's 1Oth Birthday!

My aunt's first daughter turned 10 years old today and I've pretty much watched her grow and took care of her while we both were growing up. My aunt use to take care of my sister and I when my parents went to work so she's practically a second mother. Therefore, Erica, is like a baby sister to me. My sister and I surprised her with balloons, candies, and gifts after school. We also took her out for the evening and had a great time or so I would say if I was in her shoes when I was 10.

Thai food, fun Asian claw machines, menchies!

I also did a video on my outfit on my YouTube channel. I really need to blog+make more videos! This stuff takes up a lot of time.
