Orange County Fair Part II

This is my second batch of photos from the OC Fair on Sunday. I've been to the LA Fair (once, 2009?) and it wasn't that much fun so I wasn't exactly too excited for the OC Fair but I must say that I underestimated it. I had also never been to the OC so the hour drive was a surprise at 8am in the morning. My sister had to constantly play some of my favorite songs to keep me awake.

We arrived rather early and there were almost no lines for food, rides, or games. However, the food tastes much better around a crowd. We spent the first hours around the barns, looking at the different farm animals, and witnessing what most of us eat on a daily basis. I must admit, I didn't have much of an appetite after visiting the animals.

I'll post the remaining photos tomorrow as I have to be up in 8 hours to go on another adventure that will be my first, fishing.

Orange County Fair Part I

Went to the OC Fair for the first time yesterday. Despite coming home with a sunburnt head and left back, it was ridiculously fun. More delicious than fun since my funnel cake was bigger than my face, I really want to go back, I got a free admission for Friday, tempted..

Eaton Canyon

It's been a while since I've gone hiking. Besides, it's been too hot in LA to go hiking unless you go early in the morning at like 3 or 4am before the sun wakes up and begins burning down on earth. However, the weather was okay today.. especially if the hiking trial is near rivers and lots of trees (for shade!). I took my sister and my cousin (who's practically a sister #3) to Eaton Canyon today. The first and last time I was there was actually during a date and the best thing I got out of the guy was this hiking trail! On a scale of easiness for beginning hikers I would say it's a 3 or 4 because there aren't any high rocks or hills. Very smooth and easy I'd say, but my sister who fell right on top of a big rock on all fours begs to differ. Hahahahahhaha.

Movie Week with the BFF.

I had the entire week off and although that agenda filled with things to do when I have time have been collecting dust, I decided to spend all my time with Mei Lin.

We watched 3 movies!
-Going the Distance
-Toy Story 3 (Finally!)
-Resident Evil Afterlife

Not only did we watch 3 different movies but we watched each movie at a different theater.













Back when we both weren't busy working and doing our own thing we use to work at the mall together, car pool to the mall together, get off at the same time together and helped each other close up each other's kiosks together but now, we rarely get to spend time with each other so when the time is right we take advantage!

Also missed FNO. I could care less. <3

Labor Day at Cabazon.

As usual, mother and father wanted to use the excuse of "shopping" to sneak next door to play at Casino Morongo. I didn't mind since dad gave me $100 and my savings account agreed it'd be a sweet deal to accept.

Believe it or not, I didn't buy a single thing! Not a dime spent. Not even on food! (I packed up my favorite chocolate+fruits+nuts mix!) I pretty much spent the day napping in the car with Meeko, staying outside the stores with Meeko, or playing with Meeko. A Labor Day well spent I would say since I got to be with my baby all day :)

Sushi hat Tuesday.

Trollied around town with my sweetie pie Linh. Ran a couple of errands, picked up the baby sister, picked up Linh's bestfriend Karen, went to the mall to drop off some job applications for Linh, and we had dinner at Caga Sushi ... again.

I discovered this sushi restaurant not too long ago and I've probably been here .. on an estimated 10 times.
