Wow, props to her hair stylist who wasn't afraid to take a chance. I didn't miss my 10 inches till now..

Beginner's Blonde

After a long two and a half years (I think) I finally went to get a hair cut. This time, to make it special since I am donating 10 inches of it + I wanted a new look to mark the beginning of a new chapter in my life, I did something new and different, I dyed it! I've only dyed my hair once and that was way back. Anyways, I am slowly transitioning into some blonde streaks so this is project #1 :)

Turns out my back and muscle pains were actually signs of food poisoning or the stomach flu. Been laying in my bed since Thursday night.. hence my blog updates and two YouTube videos that were uploaded, woo hoo :)



So here's the video on the nails that I recorded and edited. It took me a while to find the perfect song to blend it in with (I prefer videos with music, I don't understand how some people can watch videos without the help of music, I mean, I personally don't find anyone THAT entertaining to watch without music.)



So during my search I discovered this amazing band "Les Hommes" that I will be following starting now :) I hope some of you enjoy jazz like myself. I find this music much more pleasing to the ear than the stuff that are over promoted now a days.

Metal Metallic Nails

I've been completely obsessed with these nails. Celebrities have been sporting them but it was Tommy Ton's photos from Fashion Week that really made me go on the hunt for it.

I did some research and it wasn't an exact nail polish color. They're actually "nail foils". You can look it up on YouTube because people have done tutorials on them.

As for my trip to several nail salons and stores, none of them carried these nail foils and the company that's responsible for this amazing nail art, MINX does not sell it to individuals like myself because they require a license.

However, being the little Google-r I am, there are people selling it off eCrater (silver & gold) and eBay :)

Received an email from Sephora about an "exclusive" 2-day Hello Kitty Beauty Event.
Being an extreme Hello Kitty fan since I was born I was eager to check it out.
Lucky for my wallet almost everything I wanted was sold out.

Many Sephora Beauty Insiders aka customers were not happy, read the reviews.
Then again,
You can't complain. First come, first serve. Suck it up.
Smart move by Sephora though, debuting this thing before Christmas.

I've been looking for the perfect nail color to wear for the F/W and while brought along to keep my sister company while she shopped around for make up at Target, I came across this beautiful taupe color by Sonia Kashuk!

Monster Massive Make-Up
